Ms. Orrico, soprano, is currently in her first year at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University pursuing her Masters in Music. She is preparing for her debut role at the Shepherd School of Music as Die Königin der Nacht in their first ever production of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. Ms. Orrico has performed many roles in her undergraduate degree at Purchase Conservatory including: Poppea in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Ophélie in Hamlet, Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel, Die Königin der Nacht in Die Zauberflöte, Le Fée in Cendrillon and Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro. Ms. Orrico was awarded as a finalist in the Carolyn Bailey Argento Vocal Competition and has most recently placed first prize in Purchase Symphony Orchestra’s Concerto Competition. Ms. Orrico is currently a student of Ms. Nova Thomas.
