The goergian soprano Sophie Gordeladze has well established herself in operatic and concert repertoire in Europe and Asia, north and south America, as well as in her homeland Georgia. In the last couple of years Sophie made several exciting debuts, among them is Elettra in Teatro Sao Carlos, Lisbon, Emma in Schubert´s "Fierabras" in Bern, as well, as soprano part in Brahms "Ein Deutsches Requiem" in Parma and Piacenza with Orchestra Toscanini.

Sophie Gordeladze

Georgian soprano Sophie Gordeladze made several exciting debuts during last couple of seasons in Italy, Switzerland, Austria and USA!! Sophie has sung and regularly sings in opera houses and festivals such, as Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Grand Theatre de Geneve, Tiroler Festspiele Erl, Konzert Theater Bern, Wexford Opera Festival, Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre, Salzburger Landestheater, Chicago Opera theatre, Seoul Arts Center, Teatro Comunale di Trento, Rossini Opera Festival, Al Bustan Festival, Teatro Sao Carlos in Lisbon, Meininger Staatstheater, Teatro del Bicentenario di Leon, Vilnius Opera Theatre, Teatro Comunale di Piacenza, working with the conductors and directors as Gustav Kuhn, Alberto Zedda, Robert Carsen, Mario Venzago, Tito Ceccherini, Sascha Götzel... Sophie is a winner of 8 international competitions, Vincenzo Bellini, Ferruccio Tagliavini, Jacomo Aragall, Magda Olivero, Flaviano Labo, Francesco Vinas, Alfredo Ghitti , Neue Stimmen among them... Sophie holds a master’s diploma in singing of the Tbilisi State Conservatory and from the accademia of Mirella Freni- Cubec (Modena, Italy). Recetly she´s a PHD student in Tbilisi. Future engagements include Handel´s "Alcina" in Kaiserslautern, Goldmark´s "Ein Wintermärchen" in Wexford. Sophie has sung the main part of Gabriele in the first full audio recording of the rare opera by Othmar Schöck "Das Schloss Dürande" with Berner Symphonie Orchester and Mario Venzago. She also sung the soprano part in the world premiere of Fazil Say´s cantata "The Bells", with Lübecker Chorakademie and Rolf Beck.
