Sydney Fabregas is an emerging American soprano whose love for music began early. Growing up surrounded by various musical genres, she eagerly took the stage with her father's classic rock cover band as soon as she could hold a microphone. She has performed in various musicals, operas, variety shows, and theatrical productions.
As a high school senior, Sydney was one of seven students selected for the prestigious High School Voices Studio at Houston Grand Opera. During this time, she began studying with Dr. Jason Lester, a mentor who continued to guide her throughout her undergraduate training. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Carnegie Mellon University. She remains deeply grateful to the mentors, coaches, family, and friends who have supported her artistic journey.
Sydney currently resides in the Flathead Valley, where she is active as a performer and educator. She teaches private voice lessons and serves on faculty at Flathead Valley Community College, where she teaches musical theatre history. She previously served as a Principal Artist with Heartland Sings in Fort Wayne, performing in vocally driven productions, teaching private lessons, and participating in arts education and outreach initiatives, and has also held an adjunct faculty position in vocal instruction at Purdue University Fort Wayne. In addition to her teaching and performance work, Sydney remains an active member of the regional performing arts and music community.
