Tammie Woods is a Grammy Award winning soprano with ensemble credits with The Metropolitan Opera, Dallas Opera, Cincinnati Opera, San Francisco Opera, and The Lyric Opera of Chicago. As a concert soloist, she has appeared Italian concerts,Verdi’s inspired The Defiant Requiem, Verdi Requiem, & Wagner’s Liebestod. She is a National Presidential Scholar in the Arts, a Metropolitan Opera National Council finalist, and has received awards from The National Opera Association and multiple awards from the National Association for Negro Musicians.
