Biography

Teryn Kuzma

Ukrainian-American soprano Teryn Kuzma is a versatile musician of classical, contemporary, and folk repertoire. 
She recently won first place in the 2022 MIOpera University Division Virtual Vocal Competition. Her most recent live performances include the title role of “Vixen” in Leoš Janáček’s opera, The Cunning Little Vixen, and soloist in the Bard György Kurtág Festival. Teryn has been a featured artist with The Lincoln Crossroads Music Festival, Toronto Summer Music Festival, the Ukrainian Art Song Project, and the SongFest Program.
Teryn is also an instrumentalist on the unique 55-stringed bandura, and a founding member of the Women’s Bandura Ensemble of North America.
