T​​hao Nguyen is acclaimed for his versatility, ease on stage as an actor and the beauty of his voice in a wide variety of musical genres. Based mostly on the east coast, Mr. Nguyen has performed with many noted companies such as Connecticut Opera, Connecticut Lyric Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, Piedmont Opera, Lees McRae, Mountainside Theatre, Temple Theatre and Playhouse on Park. He has performed under the baton of many acclaimed conductors like Maestro Willie Anthony Waters(CT Opera), Maestro Robert Ashen(Eugene Opera) and Maestro James Albritten. Along with his performing schedule Mr. Nguyen is a passionate teacher who's Masterclass Schedule will include working with students from Catawba College and his alma mater UNCSA this season, along with his private studio.
