Theresa Carlomagno is an emerging soprano known for her voice's rich fullness & timeless vocal artistry. Recently, Theresa made her debut as Mimi in La Bohème in Sicily this summer & as Gretel in Hansel und Gretel last November. Theresa is currently broadening her vocal versatility by studying Verdi's repertoire, exploring the emotional depth & dramatic intensity of verismo, continually honing her craft to embrace a wide range of operatic styles. Her impressive repertoire includes 2 more standout roles as Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore & Adalgisa in Norma. Theresa has had the honor of performing alongside industry greats such as Mario Frangoulis & Andrea Bocelli alike, further enriching her diverse performance history. She brings a deep emotional connection to every role she portrays, infusing her performances with both musical finesse & dramatic depth. In addition to her performances, Theresa has graced the stage at Merkin Hall for the Met Young Artist Intensive Program & has received multiple accolades, including two Governor's Awards for vocal excellence in her youth. This year, she is competing in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, solidifying her place as a rising star in the classical music world. Theresa is dedicated to bringing beautiful music to audiences, reigniting a passion for this cherished art form both locally & internationally.
