Thomas Valenti, tenor, is a Boston-based vocal artist who has a passion for dynamic character building and collaborative performance. Recent performances have included Ferrando in Mozart and Da Ponte’s “Così fan tutte” and Reginald Bunthorne in Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Patience”. This season, Thomas will be joining the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players in their production of “Yeomen of the Guard” where he will be singing the role of Colonel Fairfax. Additionally, this season Thomas is proud to be a member of the Boston Lyric Opera Chorus. He also enjoys partnering with composers in the creation of art song, chamber, and operatic repertoire, both as a singer and a poet. When he is not performing, he enjoys work as a writer and voice teacher, and leads his practice with a fierce advocacy for equity in the arts.
