Tiffany Collazo
Mezzo-Soprano and San Antonio native, Tiffany Collazo joins Opera San Antonio this fall and spring as part of their ensemble in their production of Leocavallo's Pagliacci, and Piazzollo's Maria de Buenos Aires. She is an alumni Opera San Antonio's and the Northern Lights Music Festival's Young Artist Programs.

Biography

Tiffany Collazo

Tiffany Collazo is a Mezzo-Soprano from San Antonio, TX. She is most notable in Central Texas and North Florida, for her various operatic and musical theatre roles with the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Florida State University Opera Theaters, that include Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro, Carmen in La Tragédie de Carmen, Giovanna Seymour from Anna Bolena, Charlotte from Werther, Dorabella from Cosi Fan Tutte, Lucy in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Julie Jordan in Carousel, Evita in Evita, and The Old Lady in Candide. She has also completed over 50 performances of John Davie’s children’s opera outreaches. During the 2021-2022 Season she performed the title role of Angelina in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, for the Northern Lights Music Festival. This 2022-23 season, Tiffany represented Opera San Antonio as their Apprentice Artist on Kens 5 Great Day SA promoting the “Explore Opera!” library performances, and recitals throughout the summer, and will continue to perform in their ’22-’23 season along with other events throughout the fall.
