An award-winning Russian-American mezzo-soprano Vita Koreneva’s charisma and rich, distinctive voice make her the “emotional heartthrob” of the operatic stage. A few of her operatic highlights include: Lubasha in Bel Cantant’s Tsar’s Bride, Lyubava in the US premier of N. Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sadko, and Adalgisa in NJ Verismo Opera’s production of Norma. She has performed at the Lincoln Center in New York, the State Capella of St. Petersburg, Russia, and appeared with the United Nations Orchestra and Washington National Cathedral Choral Society. Ms. Koreneva received an Honorary Award from UNESCO (NY) and from the Russian Cultural Center (DC) for strengthening Russian-American cultural relations. Ms. Koreneva's education includes piano studies at the Central Music School of Moscow (Tchaikovsky State Conservatory), an MBA in Finance from American University and a Composition degree from Berklee School of Music (2022).  Ms. Koreneva is a winner in international vocal competitions: 2021 Con Fuoco Competition (1st Place), Big Romansiada (Best Voice) in Moscow, Russia; 2016 Lyra New York Competition (2nd Place), Verismo Opera New Jersey (Finalist), and 2015 William Haralson Vocal Competition (1st Place) in New York. Ms. Koreneva is a co-founder of DictionBuddy, a lyric diction mobile app with 800+ titles across 9 languages that makes learning new repertoire simpler.
