A native of Tacoma, WA, Andrew Turner earned an Artist Diploma at The Juilliard School, Master of Music from The University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Washington State University. Turner finishes his training with the Wiener Staatsoper as a member of the Opera studio in the 2025/2026 season. He has performed and covered various roles such as Borsa in Rigoletto, Vierte Jude in Salome, and Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Perles.
In the 2024/25 season, Andrew was a scholarship holder from The Opera Foundation in New York, a tenor soloist with the Matrix Orchestra at the Wiener Konzerthaus and returned to The Dallas Opera performing the role of "Gastone" in La Traviata.
In the 23/24 season, he made his debut as "Tybalt" in Romeo et Juliette at The Dallas Opera. At the Juilliard School, he performed the title role of "Tito" in La Clemenza di Tito and In the Summer, he played the role of "Eli" in the World premiere of The Righteous by Gregory Spears at The Santa Fe Opera.
Andrew is a District and Regional award winner in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. Other awards achieved from Opera index and The Santa Fe opera.
