A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Thompson is a first year Resident Artist with the Ryan Opera Center of Lyric Opera of Chicago.  Thompson’s 2022/23 season at Lyric Opera includes performances as Zuniga in Carmen and Cavalier 2 in Le Comte Ory. Additionally this season he will cover Jago in Ernani, Le Moine in Don Carlos, and Gouverneur in Le Comte Ory. Thompson is managed my ADA Artist Management.

A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Thompson is a first year Resident Artist with the Ryan Opera Center of Lyric Opera of Chicago.  Thompson’s 2022/23 season at Lyric Opera includes performances as Zuniga in Carmen and Cavalier 2 in Le Comte Ory. Previous roles include Prince Gremin (Eugene Onegin), Leporello (Don Giovanni), Dottore Grenvil (La Traviata), Peter Quince (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Zuniga (Carmen), Il Bonzo (Madama Butterfly), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Olin Blitch (Susanna), and Palemon (Thaïs).
