Driven by his belief in sincerity and companionship in music-making, New York based pianist Yihao Zhou is a frequent collaborator with other musicians. A Lila Bell Acheson Wallace Endowed Prize winner, Yihao graduated with highest honors from Macalester College where he earned degrees in both music and mathematics, a unique combination that has led him to become a genuine artist who plays with great care and sensitivity. As a recitalist, Yihao has appeared at various summer festivals such as the Round Top Festival Institute, and the Castleman Quartet Program, SongFest, among others. In addition to his performance accomplishments, Yihao was previously on the accompanying staff at CUNY Hunter College. Yihao is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School, where his teachers included Jonathan Feldman and Lydia Brown.
