Zoe Lesser is a director and choreographer, working across theater, opera, and immersive experiences. 

She has directed and developed work with Firefly Theatre Group, The Mercury Store, the Morgan-Wixson, Santa Fe Opera, Santa Fe Pro Musica, The Tank, Hollywood Fringe, Santa Fe Playhouse, Chicago Dramatists, and Rhino Fest. She has worked on staging teams at West Edge Opera, Opera Saratoga, Aspen Music Festival, La Jolla Playhouse, and Steppenwolf Theatre Company.

A champion of new works, Zoe is currently collaborating on new operatic pieces with Calvin Hitchcock, JL Marlor, Claire Bierman, and Julia Moss.

Zoe is a co-founder of the immersive theater company, The Exodus Ensemble, in Santa Fe, NM. She collaborated and originated roles in their productions of IVANOV and BATHSHEBA, and performed with them in an original variety show on George RR Martin’s train experience, Sky Railway. She continues to support the ensemble’s work, creating narrative driven, multi-media saturated, irreverent adaptations of classic texts that take small audiences on thrilling,  experiences.
