(He/Him) Tenor Zongwei Zhang, from Anhui, China, is a first-year master’s student in voice performance at the Jacobs School of Music, studying with Carol Vaness. He earned a Bachelor of Musicology at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. He has performed as Werther from Massenet’s Werther, Nemorino from Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love, Fritz from Mascagni’s L’amico Fritz, Monostatos from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Ferrando From Mozart's Così fan tutte and as Torquemada  from Ravel's L'heure espagnole. He just finished the Performance of Ariadne auf Naxos in Chicago.

Zongwei Zhang

(He/Him) Tenor Zongwei Zhang, from Anhui, China, is a first-year master’s student in voice performance at the Jacobs School of Music, studying with Carol Vaness. He earned a Bachelor of Musicology at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. He has performed as Werther from Massenet’s Werther, Nemorino from Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love, Fritz from Mascagni’s L’amico Fritz, Monostatos from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Ferrando From Mozart's Così fan tutte and as Torquemada  from Ravel's L'heure espagnole. He just finished the Performance of Ariadne auf Naxos in Chicago as The Dancing Master and Brighella. He won second prize in the Prokofiev International Music Competition and Korea-China International Vocal Competition.
