Tenor Matthew Corcoran has stunned audiences with his clear and powerful voice. Matt has sung repertoire ranging from Mozart to Wagner and everything in between. Matt has the unique characteristic of having a powerful voice but enough lyricism and control to sing the most intimate of repertoire. Originally haling from Ipswich, Massachusetts, Matt now finds himself living and performing in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area. As a performer, Matt has sung a variety of repertoire including opera, oratorio, concert work, chamber music, and art song with groups such as The Dallas Symphony, The Dallas Opera, Voces Intimae, Boston Lyric Opera, and as a two-time Fellow for The Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Tanglewood Festival. Matt is also a talented voice teacher having taught both high school aged students as well as professionals including viral Youtube star Caleb Hyles! To date Matt has had at least one of his high school students make it to the TMEA All-State conference since teaching for Richardson Independent School District. Lastly, during the covid-19 pandemic, Matt was lucky enough to fulfill a lifelong dream and began to do some voice acting. Matt has voiced anime characters and done background voices for FUNimation as well as Sound Cadence Studios and Okratron 5000 Studios.
