Abigail Orr is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music and received her Certicate in Opera Performance at Texas Tech University while being a Young Artist at Amarillo Opera. She will be enrolled at Boston University this fall to obtain her Master’s of Music in Vocal Performance studying with Dr. Lynn Eustis.

Abigail Orr, Soprano, comes from Montgomery, Texas and has since performed across the United States and Canada. Her most recent performances and accolades include singing Pamina in Matador Opera’s Die Zauberflöte as well as scenes from Carmen with Lubbock University Orchestra. Abigail is recently an alumna of Songfest 2022 as a Colburn Fellow recipient. This summer, Abigail is so excited to be singing her rst Fiordiligi in Utah Vocal Arts Academy’s production of Così fan tutte.
Abigail has sung operatic roles such as, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Despina in Così fan tutte, Sophie in Werther, Soeur Constance in Oberlin Opera Theater’s production of Dialogues of the Carmelites, Gretel in Hansel und Gretel, The Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte and Watermelon, the taxidermied prairie dog in Rachel Peters’ world premier of The Wild Beast of the Bungalow. Her recent concert work includes, “Hear ye Israel,” from Mendelsohn’s Elijah with the Oberlin Conservatory Orchestra and the Soprano Soloist for Poulenc’s Gloria.
Abigail Orr is a recent graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music where she studied under the tutelage of Kendra Colton. This year she will be receiving her Certicate in Opera Performance at Texas Tech University under the direction of Dr. Rebecca Hays while being a Young Artist at Amarillo Opera. Abigail is honored to have portrayed the Page in Amarillo Opera’s production of Rigoletto and Despina, in John Davies children’s outreach opera, The Three Little Pigs.
