A Flutist Journey

This recital is a celebration of music and life. As we all know; we have had to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic and it put life on pause for 2 years. In that time, in person events were few and far between. However we found creative way to make art art and to have that artistic outlet. Now that restrictions have been lifted I have been planning a very unique musical program for this event.

Now in regards to the music all of the selections you will hear on this program are outside of “normal” flute repertoire. While I give much respect to our musical founding fathers (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven) these selections are what I would consider to be the fruits of their labor. Because without them music would not have evolved into what it is today. Plus I will be performing pieces on 4 different flutes.

This event will be held at the Drake House Theater at 171 Cedar Arts. And for those who are not able to be in attendance live at the venue this event will be live-streamed on my artist page here on Facebook plus it will be live on my instagram page as well.

There is no cost to attend but if you would like to make a donation they are always welcomed. At the end of the performance there will be a reception held. If you would like more information please feel free to message me and I will get back to you ASAP.
