Moore is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Golden Key International Honour Society and Pi Kappa Lambda Honorary Music Society. She is also the recipient of merit scholarships from the Longy School of Music and Kennesaw State University. Moore has performed in Masterclasses for Aralee Dorough, Fenwick Smith, Elizabeth Rowe, Tadeu Coelho and Paul Edmund Davies. Moore has performed in the pit orchestra for: Les Miserables, Pippin, Camelot, King and I, Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, The Wiz, Once On This Island and Sister Act. She has also performed with the Longy Chamber Orchestra, Longy Chamber Winds and the Kennesaw State University Wind Ensemble. Moore has also given solo recitals in Cannon Chapel at Emory University, the Rockdale County Auditorium in Conyers, Georgia and Pickman Hall at the Longy School of Music. In 2007, Moore presented a Lecture Recital series on Music for Unaccompanied Flute to Rotary Clubs in both Massachusetts and Georgia. In 2004, she was selected for the College Band Directors National Association Southeastern Division Intercollegiate Band, and also was selected to perform as Principal Flute with the National Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall. In 2002, Moore as a freshman placed third in the Kennesaw State University Concerto Competition. Moore is also an alumnus of the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony and the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra of Atlanta. As a teacher, Moore conducts flute sectionals in middle and high schools in the metropolitan Atlanta area and maintains a private studio.
