Hannah Moreno is an American soprano.
In the 2022/2023 season, Hannah made two role debuts as Rosalba in Catán’s Florencia en el Amazonas and as Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen. During the summer, Hannah attended Sewanee Summer Music Festival OperaFest as an Emerging Artist. As an active solo recitalist, Hannah performed in a recent voice recital tour, “Opera and Songs: A Recital Series in South Texas,” last May with Brazilian pianist, Érico Freire Bezerra. Notable appearances include the Gelman Stained Glass Museum in San Juan, TX and the International Museum of Arts and Sciences in McAllen, TX.
In the 2021/2022 season, Hannah was the recipient of the Encouragement Award of the Lyra New York International Art Song Competition. Hannah performed Baker’s Wife in Sondheim’s Into the Woods and Linfea in Cavalli’s La Calisto, both with Eastman Opera Theater.
Hannah received her M.M. in Vocal Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Nicole Cabell. She received her B.M. in Voice Performance and B.A in Biology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
