The National Orchestral Institute is a four-week program of intensive study covering chamber music, unconducted chamber orchestras, orchestral performance. NOI provides important tools for professional success and artistic achievement, as well as preparation for the unique challenges facing 21st century musicians. The program opens with a preliminary week of chamber music and conductorless chamber orchestras, coached by stars from the world of professional chamber music. Three weeks of full orchestral programs follow, led by renowned conductors and coached by many of the country's finest orchestral players. Throughout the program, a series of innovative guest speakers address leading topics – opportunities and challenges – that face today's classical musicians
