Arianna Paz Ritaccio

Italian and Spanish-American mezzo soprano Arianna Paz Ritaccio is an opera/musical theatre crossover performer praised for her “warmth of timber and accomplishments as a comedienne” (Boston Musical Intelligencer) and her “all-encompassing” interpretation of song (New England Gilbert & Sullivan Society).

In the 2024/25 season, Arianna made her role debut as Rosina in Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia with Druid City Opera, and she joined The Ohio Light Opera for her second season as a Resident Young Artist, performing in their productions of Carousel (Arminy), Bitter Sweet (Harriet), Brigadoon, Patience, and Tip Toes. In concert, she made her Lincoln Center debut as the Alto 1 soloist in Berio's Sinfonia with the Mannes Orchestra in Alice Tully Hall. 

Arianna holds an MM in Vocal Performance and Opera from the Mannes School of Music, as well as a BA in Psychology (Cognitive Neuroscience) from Harvard University.
