Charlotte Stewart, mezzo-soprano, grew up singing as a professional chorister at the Washington National Cathedral, where she continues to sing, and has had the privilege of singing at many events of national importance, such as the Ronald Reagan funeral, the 9/11 National Day of Prayer and Remembrance with the “Pershing’s Own” United States Army Band, the Pre-Inaugural Prayer service, and the interment of Matthew Shepard. Ms. Stewart has sung for Presidents Carter, Clinton, both Bushes, Obama, Trump, and their First Ladies, Vice Presidents, and Cabinets at the Cathedral, St. John's Lafayette Square, and at the White House itself. Ms. Stewart earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Southern Methodist University in Texas, following which she earned her Master of Music degree from the University of Miami in Florida. Ms. Stewart maintains an active teaching studio and is on the voice faculty at the National Cathedral and St. Albans Schools in Washington, DC.
