Biography

Daniella Brancato

Daniella Brancato is a soprano from Great Neck, New York, and a graduate of the Mannes School of Music’s Professional Studies program. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with Honors in Vocal Performance from Carnegie Mellon University.

This summer, Brancato was a Studio Artist with Finger Lakes Opera, where she performed the role of the Contessa Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and Older Alyce in Tom Cipullo’s Glory Denied.

At Mannes, Brancato appeared as Simone in Kaija Saariaho’s La Passion de Simone. Her other performances at Mannes include Harriet Beecher Stowe in Kamala Sankaram’s The Infinite Energy of Ada Lovelace and Lauren in a workshop of Many Roads with conductor and composer Daniela Candillari.

Her previous operatic credits include Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Arminda in La finta giardiniera, and the roles of Armchair, Bat, Shepherdess, and Owl in L’enfant et les sortilèges. Brancato was a participant in Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy in 2024 and attended the 2024 Prague Summer Nights Festival.
