Emily Yoshimoto
Emily Yoshimoto is a third-year Cello Fellow at the New World Symphony. She began her studies at age three with Barbara Wampner and later with Jean-Michel Fonteneau. Ms. Yoshimoto attended Northwestern University under the tutelage of Hans Jørgen Jensen as a Helen L. Teich Scholarship recipient. She was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and has spent her recent summers at the Pacific Music Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.
