Biography

Gabriella Rodmac

Born in San Diego and raised also in Tijuana, Baja California. Studied dramatic arts at San Diego Mesa College and minored in music. After obtaining a dramatic arts diploma in Spain, she went on to study belcanto in Milan, Italy at Scuola Civica di Musica Claudio Abbado under Ilia Aramayo and Roberto Coviello. Gabriella was Carmen at Festival de Opera en La Calle in Tijuana. She debuted as Donna Elvira at Teatro Giuseppe Verdi in Busseto, Italy where she was also Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. She was Tosca at Teatro Gatto in Switzerland. Maria in Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado’s production of West Side Story. Sang the Italian National Anthem with the brass ensemble from Milano's "La Verdi" and the US National anthem in a live broadcast for the XXXV Italian Super Bowl at Vigorelli Stadium. She will be La Fata in Natalia Valli's Pinocchio in Los Angeles this spring. continues to work with her singing coach in Italy, her country of residence.
