Görsev Tepe is a pianist from Kyrenia, North Cyprus who has made a name for herself with great success since her first recital at the age of 9 at the Bellapais Monastery for the benefit of the Cancer Patients Association. Görsev received 14 international awards in piano competitions in various countries including Germany, England, Bulgaria, Turkey, the United States and North Cyprus, and has studied in the United States since the age of 12 under the law of “the Education of Extraordinary Talented Young Artist in Fine Arts” by Northern Cyprus. Görsev graduated with honors in piano performance from Berklee College of Music in Boston. With her recent success in a competition in NYC, she was awarded a performance at the Carnegie Hall. In May she performed at Agannis Arena with a full orchestra and had the chance to work with world renowned film composer James Newton Howard. She was invited to be a supervisor at Nafplio International Piano Festival this past summer.

As an artist, Görsev believes that music is one of the best ways to warm political relations, representation, and cooperation among different cultures and nations. Her Mediterranean background is deeply represented in her music. The vision of the artist is to combine the old with the new, make the audience experience Classical music in a new way, and unify people as a whole. She uses the power of art to bring change into the world and support the creative freedom of all musicians.
