Hailing from Kissimmee, Florida, Jabari Lewis is a young artist working on the opera stage. Jabari was most recently seen as Tito in the world premiere of The House on Mango Street at The Glimmerglass Festival, where he also covered the role of Sellem in The Rake's Progress. Jabari was also seen at Des Moines Metro Opera, where he performed in Il barbiere di Siviglia and covered roles in both Salome and the world premier of Damien Geter and Lila Palmer’s American Apollo. Jabari holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Florida State University and is currently working on a Master of Music at the University of Michigan.
