Biography

Kathleen McDonald

Kathleen has been on the music faculties of four universities as well as taught in community music schools and private and public schools. Kathleen actively teaches through McDonald Music Studio, a highly regarded music studio in Greater Boston, Massachusetts. Her students have pursued careers in music, been accepted to noted conservatories and universities and have won numerous competitions and scholarships. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Kathleen earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Vocal Performance, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Irvine and a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Boston University’s School of Music and was a scholarship recipient to Tanglewood Music Center’s Vocal Program and the Oren Brown Voice Seminar.
