Kevin Jin is a clarinetist based in Rochester, New York. Performing with the Eastman School of Music’s large ensembles, Jin has performed masterworks with Dr. Mark Scatterday and Maestro Neil Varone. Jin has performed with the Georgia Symphony Orchestra and has participated in several masterclasses by Mark Nuccio, Joacquin Valdepenas, Christopher Pell, and more. Alongside his orchestral experience, Jin has extensive chamber music experience, performing with a woodwind quintet during his summer at Interlochen, Michigan and his woodwind quintet at the Eastman School of Music.

Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, Jin studied with Dr. Justin Stanley of the Atlanta Opera Orchestra and Georgia Symphony Orchestra before going on to earn his Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from the Eastman School of Music. As a D. Stanley Hasty and John D Haldane Jr. scholarship recipient, Jin currently studies under the tutelage of Michael Wayne.
