Biography

Leah Rosenman

Leah Rosenman is a mezzo-soprano from Longmeadow, MA. She is a rising senior at Williams College, majoring in music. In 2022, Leah was named a winner of the Berkshire Symphony Soloist Competition, where she performed Purcell's 'Thy hand Belinda/When I am laid in earth.' As an active member of Williams choirs and the Williams Opera Workshop, Leah recently performed the alto solo in Mozart's Requiem and played the Third Lady in Mozart's The Magic Flute. This summer, she will be a young artist at the Mediterranean Opera Studio and Festival in Caltagirone, Sicily, as well as a participant in the Seraphic Fire Professional Choral Institute at the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen, CO. Teachers have included Sonja Funk, Kerry Ryer-Parke, Paul La Rosa, and Anna Lenti.
