Mitch is a percussionist and timpanist living in Eugene, Oregon, and is a DMA student at the University of Oregon. Before moving to Eugene, he attended the Manhattan School of Music for his undergraduate degree. Outside of school, he has played with many professional groups in the Pacific Northwest and holds the Principal Percussion seat for the Portland Columbia Symphony, as well as Principal Timpani positions with the Eugene Concert Choir and Yakima Symphony. His primary teachers include Ian Kerr, Pius Cheung, Chris Lamb, She-e Wu, Duncan Patton, and Kyle Zerna.
