Mezzo-Soprano and North Carolina native Veronica Siebert is a 2022 graduate from the Eastman School of Music where she received her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. Some of her recent stage credits include the Witch in Sondheim’s Into the Woods, Endimione in Cavalli’s La Calisto, and the Foreign Singer in Argento’s Postcard From Morocco. She appeared numerous times at Eastman as a soloist in works such as Mozart’s Missa Brevis, BWV 111, Schütz’s Musikalische Exequien, Vivaldi’s Magnificat, and Charpentier’s Messe de Minuit pour Noël, among others. In September, Veronica sang in the Salem Bach Festival choir, where she performed the Alto solo in BWV 42. Veronica has sung in competitions such as the FGO-YPO vocal competition, where she was awarded the George Lyall Memorial Award, the CMM Vocal Competition, where she was awarded First Prize and Best American Art Song and the Schmidt Undergraduate Vocal Competition, where she was a Finalist.
