Vera Hsu was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. She earned her bachelor's in Fine Art at the National Taiwan University of Arts. After two years of working in Taiwan, she decided to study at the University of Cincinnati for a Master’s degree in violin performance.  Currently, she is pursuing Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Cincinnati, studying with Won-Bin, Yim. Ms. Vera is a passionate and encouraging teacher. She has seven years of in-person violin and piano teaching, two years of violin group teaching, and two years of online teaching experience.
