Biography
Yue Zhang, mezzo-soprano, a first year graduate student at UNCG with an MM degree in Music Performance - Voice. She has held master classes with soprano Tiziana Tramonti at the Bologna Conservatory in Italy. She played Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte, Nicklausse in Offenbach: The Tales of Hoffmann and Annius in La Clemenza di Tito in China. She won the Excellence Award in the Opera Group in the Chuncheon International Vocal Competition in South Korea and the Gold Award in the Youth Vocal Group in the German Philharmonic Music Competition. Now, she is studying with Prof. Clara O'Brien at the UNCG School of Music.

AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
06/2021 Invited to take part in the vocal final of the 8th KJC Asia International Art Festival in Qingdao, China.
04/2021 Won the gold medal in the vocal youth group of the German Philharmonic Music Competition.
10/2020 Awarded the National Scholarship and obtained the Certificate of Honor.
09/2020 Selected as the Excellent Graduate of Sichuan Conservatory of Music and obtained the Certificate of Honor.
2018- 2020 Won the First-class Scholarship and selected as the Excellent Student.
05/2018 Won the 1st Prize of Professional Piano Art Direction Category at the KJC Asian International Arts Festival, was invited to Seoul, South Korea to enter the finals.
12/2017 Won Excellent Award in Opera Group of Chuncheon International Vocal Music Competition in South Korea.
