Cuban actress graduated from the National School of Art in Havana with degrees in choral direction and stage direction. She is a musical composer and has written three children's books. Her film credits include The Nights of Constantinople, Three Times Twice, Long Distance, among others. She was founder of @Argos Teatro in Cuba. Since 2006, she has been part of the @Spanish Repertory Company, being one of the main actresses, having performed in more than 20 productions. She is the founder along with #Leyma López of the independent @Teatro Columna in NY 2011. She is the recipient of the HOLA, ATI and ACE Awards for the best Actress in Latin theater, drama, comedy and classics in New York City. Her other recognitions include the ATI, LATA and Camagüey International Theater Festival Awards in her native Cuba.
