Assistant Professor of Conducting and Associate Director of Choirs - Tenure-Track Faculty Position, Department of Conducting.

Duties: Conduct University Choir (large choir comprised primarily of undergraduate vocal performance and choral music education majors) and conduct Men’s Glee Club (large and renowned male chorus comprised primarily of non-music majors). Work alongside the director of choirs and the graduate choral conductors to continue their work in fostering a diverse and inclusive choral program in the areas of repertoire, curriculum, personnel and community engagement. Other areas of conducting and teaching may include undergraduate choral conducting, choral conducting for graduate non-conducting majors and advanced undergraduate students, graduate choral literature, graduate score study, and other duties consistent with the candidate’s interests and expertise.
