The Atlanta Opera’s exceptional Studio Artists Program offers amazing opportunities and benefits, allowing artists to grow into their craft and improve their skills in all aspects of their Field.

An amount of $1,000.00 per week for approximately 30 – 32 weeks, as well as access to the company’s benefit package (medical, dental, vision, and retirement).
A housing stipend of $250.00 per week while on contract.
Opportunities to assist directing Mainstage & Discovery Series productions
Rehearsal Room experience, and the opportunity to learn from a close affiliation with experienced professionals in all productions.
Dramatic instruction led by a range of drama coaches that focuses on role performance/study, stage movement, and stage combat.
No age limit.
You must either be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the United States through the end of June 2026.
