The ST Opera Festival Young Artist Program is a three-week immersive training experience for emerging classical singers. Participants receive housing, a stipend, a travel allowance, and personalized mentorship from the artistic leadership of the ST Opera Festival.
Our program offers the chance to study, perform, and grow alongside professionals in a vibrant cultural city. Through private lessons, coaching, staging rehearsals, workshops, and performances, artists refine their craft and gain meaningful professional experience.

Open to all applicants
Graduate, post-graduate, and early-career professional singers preferred
International Applicants / Visa Information:
For international students under an F-1 visa, the program can issue a Curricular Practical Training (CPT) letter to request authorization from the applicant's university to receive the stipend.
Applicants will indicate visa status, visa type, and CPT needs within the application.

An intimate recital featuring works selected for the season's theme.
June 15, 2027 – Vocal Chamber Music Concert
Chamber music performance with faculty and participants.
June 19, 2027 – Young Artist Program Finale | Performing Arts Center
Staged opera scenes accompanied by chamber orchestra in a short program.
June 20, 2027 – ST Opera Festival Finale | Performing Arts Center
Celebratory concert featuring all festival programs, ensembles, and soloists.
