2027 FESTIVAL SEASON INFORMATION

Program Dates
May 25 – August 1, 2027

Repertoire
2027 Festival Season: La bohème | H.M.S. Pinafore | End of the Rainbow

Program Information
The Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artists Training Program is an integral part of Central City Opera’s annual Summer Opera Festival. Held in the historic town of Central City in the mountains of Colorado, the training artists’ program includes daily opera training in acting, movement, stage combat, individual vocal coaching, and sessions in career management, combined with rehearsals and performance opportunities.

There are many places to learn how to sing; there are few places to learn how to be a performing artist. Central City Opera is one of them – having built an effective, successful training program perennially sought after by gifted early-career singers. The difference is subtle, but it is a difference upon which Central City Opera has built an effective and successful training program perennially sought after by gifted early-career singers.

Central City Opera's Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Artists Training Programs are limited to citizens of the United States and non-citizens with appropriate requisite working/training visas. Central City Opera does not presently offer Visa Sponsorship.
