Description:

The Marketing Fellow plays a crucial role in furthering the organization’s mission, building new audiences and meeting ticket revenue goals. An ideal candidate is personable, creative, has exceptional communication skills and enjoys storytelling through a variety of platforms. Networking and building relationships with media teams, public relations firms and graphic designers is a priority for the position. This person can expect to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the fellowship having gained a broad understanding of non-profit arts operations and marketing.

Based out of the administrative offices, the Marketing Fellow will report to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the CEO, Director of Operations, Director of Development and team, Director of Administration and Communications, the Marketing and Photography Fellow and other staff.

What You Will Do:

Assist with consistent messaging campaigns that successfully grow audiences and increase ticket sales
Work in partnership with the Marketing and Photography fellow managing digital outlets and content for social media channels, website, blogs, e-newsletters and bulk e-blasts, alumni spotlights, and musician features
Develop and distribute marketing materials like event signage, weekly posters, flyers, brochures and incentive communication pieces
Write educational and engaging content for concert audience interaction via NRO app and other communication tools
Create and submit pre-concert slideshows to production team
Coordinate, schedule and manage volunteers for open rehearsals and other special events
Assist in audience, musician, fellowship and staff satisfaction surveys with data/testimonial compilation for NRO Impact and Annual Reports
Attend concerts, runouts and special events representing the NRO and provide guest interaction tools via handouts, app information and on-site storytelling
Help coordinate special events, outreach, and community engagement events, including but not limited to set-up and tear-down
Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile:

Knowledge and passion for classical music and the Arts
Able to develop program fun facts and stories for an interactive concert experience
Attention to detail with a knack for storytelling and an eye for audience satisfaction
Personable with positive attitude with go-getter qualities
Excellent writing and digital communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Can work creatively, independently and as part of a team
Working knowledge of photography and an understanding or willingness to learn basic website content management tools along with graphic design and marketing platforms
Must be able to supply your own computer
Ability to lift, move or transport up to 35 pounds
Compensation:

FREE employee/fellowship housing in Breckenridge
$75 weekly food stipend
Partial travel stipend
Your Time in Breckenridge:

The fellowship will begin on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, with the last working day on Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Breckenridge Arrival: Monday, June 5, 2023 / Breckenridge Departure: Friday, August 18, 2023.
