Description

LSO is seeking a motivated arts professional with significant learning and participation experience, to deliver and manage LSO Discovery’s flagship programme of activity in East London, LSO On Track, on a maternity cover basis.

Working with local music education partners as part of their Music Education Hubs in Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Greenwich, Hackney, Havering, Lewisham, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest, this post will focus on delivering and evolving the existing programme, whilst also managing the relationships with the LSO’s East London music services, and Hub Lead Organisation partners as the Arts Council Music Hub Investment programme evolves.

Encompassing coaching, performance and composition-based creative work with young instrumentalists, through to programmes for primary schools, CPD opportunities for teachers and opportunities for young people with learning disabilities, the LSO On Track programme represents excellence and diversity, supporting learning and broadening horizons for young people and music education practitioners.
