The Jackson Symphony located in Jackson, TN is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Principal Cello for the for the 23-24 orchestra season. The season runs September through May and includes eight symphony performances featuring a mix of repertoire ranging from pops to masterworks. Principals are independent contractors of the organization and will receive an IRS 1099 statement at the end of the calendar year. Agreements are done season-by-season, July 1 through June 30, and are subject to renegotiation each year. Most education/outreach opportunities are compensated separately.
