Full-time, salaried position for September 11, 2023-June 9, 2024. Other available contracted substitute violin section positions may be offered as a result of this audition.

Audition will take place on June 27, 2023 at Houston Christian University.

EMPLOYMENT

The Houston Symphony has a 52-week season, including 9 weeks of paid vacation. Minimum annual salary for the 2023–2024 season is $105,300, increasing to $109,200 in 2024–2025. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, instrument insurance, disability insurance, and pension contributions to the AFM-EPF.
