The Artist-Teacher of Flute position is a unique opportunity for an educator who wants to be part of this mission. We’re looking for a mentor and guide who can help students discover their artistic identities as they develop the skills, artistry, and passion needed for a multi-faceted, entrepreneurial career.
 
Longy is seeking applications for a flute faculty member who is a leader and a coach, who sees the potential in every student. Candidates should have the skills needed to help students develop their interests and curiosity, prepare a graduate recital, and embark on a career. The candidate’s own career should include diverse music-making experiences and projects.
