OPERA America, the national nonprofit service organization for opera, headquartered at the National Opera Center in midtown New York City, seeks an enterprising administrator to support the organization’s learning and leadership programs.

The Learning and Leadership Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Learning and Leadership with planning and implementing OPERA America’s professional development programming, including, but not limited to, the Leadership Intensive, Leadership Launch, Mentorship Programs for Opera Leaders of Color and Women Administrators, Network meetings for General Directors, the Finance and HR Network, and virtual regional meetings, helping to ensure hat programs align with the organization’s strategic priorities and commitment to gender parity, racial equity, social justice, and access. The Coordinator will assist in creating and implementing programming for the Education and Community Engagement Network and Opera Teens program. The coordinator will be responsible for sending and tracking meeting invitations, maintaining department schedules, assisting with contracting guest speakers, and other logistical support.
