The Oslo Philharmonic and chief conductor Klaus Mäkelä invite highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of bass trombone. Candidates passing the pre-selection video round will be invited to audition in Oslo on Sunday 17 December 2023 (1000-1800). Successful candidates will thereafter be invited for trial weeks with the orchestra in Spring 2024. Applicants with a permanent position in an orchestra (or other relevant ensembles) and applicants currently on the Oslo Philharmonic substitute list do not need to submit a video.
