The Music Director of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony is the artistic leader of the orchestra. This part time position includes a base stipend for administrative duties and a fee for each concert conducted. The Music Director is responsible for Performance, Preparation, Development and Administration as well as Education and Community Engagement, described in detail in attached file (Greater Bridgeport Symphony Music Director Position Description).
