Bologna International Opera Academy (BIOA Classic) is an intensive top-rated summer program located in one of the most enchanting and vibrant cities in Italy. Music is etched into the heart of Bologna; it is part of the fabric of the local economy and is thriving. In 2006, Bologna was named an UNESCO Creative City of Music, a prestigious recognition honoring the city’s extraordinary musical tradition. BIOA Opera Theater is an exciting performance program available to highly motivated and talented singers on the verge of their professional careers. It offers in-depth preparation of an operatic role with support from role preparation coaches, a stage director, and a conductor. The program culminates with singers performing their role in a fully staged, professional production with costumes and orchestra in collaboration with State Opera Burgas.
