Gibney Pro Professional Certificate Program

To succeed in today’s climate, dance artists are expected to be versatile collaborators with extraordinary technical capacities. In response, Alexandra Wells developed GibneyPRO, a Professional Certificate Program unique to Gibney that prepares emerging dance artists to lead our field forward. Drawing upon Wells’ vast network and experience as a curator of educational programs, GibneyPRO exposes dance artists to a global network of professional relationships and equips them with the strategies they need to flourish in a variety of career paths, from full-time company members to freelance artists. Together, Wells, Gilbert T Small II, Gibney Company Director and GibneyPRO Artistic Advisor, and Bret Yamanaka, GibneyPRO Rehearsal Director, will partner to support the evolution and individual trajectory of each dancer in the GibneyPRO cohort.
